EZ drummer EXZ download install RESOLVED Bought this Vintage Rock expansion download(only serial number) last night, received the serial number, authorization code and can't find the 'authorization sceen' to activate the kit and loops. When I open EZ drummer I only have the Pop rock and cocktail kits. Can't find an executable for the vintage kit, or even any evidence of it at all on my pc, including the toontrack/ez drummer file. Scanned VST(and I) folders, did everything I can think of. I've searched this forum as well as toontracks' but.to no avail, as well as emailed toontracks. Any hints would be appreciated. Bought this Vintage Rock expansion download Ware did you download it to?? Did you put ware the other packs are?? No need to scan the VST scan. Its not a VST, its an expansion pack Can't find an executable for the vintage kit, or even any evidence of it at all on my pc, including the toontrack/ezdrummer file. Scanned VST just doing the vst scan will do nothing, especially if you do not scan the right place. You need to configure the scan to scan the folder location of the ezdrummer. Your probably just scanner the cakewalk vst folder Cj.

Well I figured out what I did- I ordered the 'serial number only' instead of the 'online download.' Partially my mistake but also very little information on the toontrack site- and very little support as well, despite their numerous faq's section and forum. Still not sure what the 'serial number only' package I ordered is- they have my info as far as what software of theirs I have (it's in my products page) and I would have thought they could have steered me to the correct product, but they sure took my $89.00. Still waiting for their reply to 3 emails, other than one I sent yesterday in which they basically ignored my question. Oh well, I guess I learned something today. Robert Anthony.

Log in to the toontrack.com site and go to the Users Area. Then click the My Products button.

Then click the Register New Product button. Then enter your serial number and click Submit.

ToonTrack has converted to a new sales system. If you buy any of their products through the retail channel, you get a box full of CDs containing all their products.

I bought EZDrummer in Jan at GC on sale. GC has their POS computer set up to issue a serial number on the receipt. (They say that they can retrieve it for you if you lose the receipt.) You install the product from the CD and go through the authorization and update process.

If I want buy another TT product, I buy a serial number from GC or the TT website and install it from the CD. Evidently it's worth it to have only one sku. Robert - I hope you can come back and help me with this! I am having the exact same problem with S2.0 that I bought at GC. But I didn't get ANY disks from GC like Murray said, all I got was the license code.

OFFLINE DOWNLOAD AND AUTHORIZATION INSTRUCTIONS BELOW DOWNLOAD: 1. On a Separate computer that is connected to the internet please login to your Toontrack.com account and click My Account MY Products.

The website will suggest that you use the product manager, but if you are not able to do so click the option to use the web version instead. Locate the product that you want to download and click the RED download button.

This will download the full version of the software. Once the download is complete, locate the downloaded files in your downloads folder and then transfer the entire file to your NON internet connected computer. Once they have been transferred to the non internet connected computer unzip the zip file, launch the installer and run it to completion. Once the installer is finished launch the plugin in the stand alone version. IF you are using EZDrummer 2, EZmix 2, or EZkeys there will be a stand alone application with the products name in your list of applications. IF you are using Superior Drummer 2 please launch Toontrack solo which is the stand alone application for Superior Drummer 2. AUTHORIZATION: 6.

Click the Offline authorization button in the interface of the software. Carefully write down the computer id that appears in the interface. Make sure to include all characters and dashes 8. On a separate computer that is connected to the internet login to your Toontrack.com account and click My account My products web version here.

Then locate the product that you want to authorize and click the show details button. IN Show details click the authorization tab and then click the RED authorize this computer button. Type in the computer id that you wrote down. In the next field give the computer a name and click authorize. Your unique authorization code that corresponds to your NON internet connected computer will then be generated in the form of an Authorization file. Click the download button by the Authorization file to download this file.

Transfer the downloaded authorization file to your Non internet connected computer, launch the software and click the select button in the Offline authorization window. It should be noted that on older Toontrack software there will be no authorization file, you will instead receive an Authorization code.

13 Select the Authorization file and your product will now be authorized. ON older Toontrack software such as EZDrummer version 1 you will simply need to type in the authorization code that you received in the last step.
